This camp is for anyone entering grades 3—8. Non-contact football camp focuses on overall fundamentals as well as position specific skills and fun! Campers need to wear t-shirt, shorts, and sneakers/cleats. All other equipment will be provided.

Golf Camp
with Ben Osborne
The Spencerport Summer Golf Camp is designed to foster long-term enjoyment of the game while developing skills that will lead to success on the golf course and beyond. Athletes will receive instruction on the fundamental skills of golf, as well as learn the etiquette and history of the game. Coach will introduce all players to the skills and drills that players will need to be successful at the next level of competition. Each day will include challenges and game play to demonstrate players’ progress. This is a Co-Ed Camp and will be Fun for all!

Girls Volleyball (6-8)

In this camp participants will be divided into groupings depending on skill level and development. The camp will address hitting, passing, setting, serving, ball control, and teamwork. The goal is to introduce the game of volleyball, including developing skills in a challenging, fun, and stimulating environment. New coach Kerri McHale

Baseball (2-12)
with Larry Frisa
Spencerport Baseball camp is for anyone interested in playing baseball. Our camp will be coached by the varsity baseball players under the direct supervision of the varsity baseball coach/staff. We will cover fielding, hitting, throwing, and rules of baseball.

Boys Lax (7-12)

Our lacrosse camp will focus on individual skill development & concepts for team success. Participants will be divided into groups based on age & skill level. Players will receive instruction on the fundamental skills of lacrosse, then move on to new drills that focus on player & team skill development. Coaches will introduce players to all the skills that players will need for the next level of competition. Each day will include game play to allow players to showcase their new skills & team concepts.

Swim Camp (6-8)
with Deb Burke
This camp will focus on building skill and improving stroke mechanics in each of the competitive swimming strokes (freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, and butterfly). Instruction regarding starts, turns, and underwater swimming will also be included. Use of common swim team equipment such as pullbuoys, tempo trainers, posture trainers, and resistance bands included. Basic instruction regarding energy systems and training concepts will be included so swimmers can approach their swim season with an improved understanding of seasonal planning. Sessions will include some use of training videos of Olympian and National class athletes, and will incorporate some video assessment of participants. Swimmers will need their own goggles, swim cap and/or hair ties (for long hair), swim fins (if available), swimsuits (1-piece preferred for girls, jammers for boys, but not required), towels, and water bottles. All dates will be at Spencerport High School.

Girls Lax

To develop and maintain an environment that is conducive to success on and off the field. On the field accomplishments will be determined by work ethic, cooperation, sportsmanship and victory. Attainment will also include being a positive role model in all areas of life, including academic achievement and involvement within the community. We want to be the first people on the field at the beginning of the season and the last people off. That is our ultimate goal.
