Ranger Aquatics Swim Team
with Deb Burke
For all swimmers interested in a competitive swim instructional and training program. Swimmers will be assigned to either a Senior Group (Modified/JV/Varsity-level) or Junior Group, with practices offered 5 times per week to allow flexibility. Swimmers attend as their schedules allow. Compliments the scholastic (Varsity/JV/Modified) swim programs and camps. No prior competitive swimming experience required. The focus of the Junior group is the fundamentals of swimming, including instruction in the competitive strokes and skills to become a better swimmer who can be successful in both a club and scholastic swimming environment. The Senior program is designed to maintain and improve upon fundamentals in combination with a training program to produce greater speed and efficiency, resulting in improved performance. Suitable for first-time competitors through Varsity-level athletes. Please also consider the weight training program below for additional building of strength and conditioning.
